Kingcott Farm

Cryer & Coe, white box, composite glazing, Ashton, Bristol, modern, clean contemporary design, zinc cladding

Project:  New build residential extension,                  Abbots Lea, Bristol
Client:    Private

Built to enable a growing family to remain on site, the extension provides three bedrooms and social spaces over two floors.

Set within the green belt and inspired by the client’s vision to create a building informed by the surrounding farm buildings, the curved zinc roof reduces perceived scale whilst the set back cedar clad entrance connects old and new at the heart of the extended home.

Key element: Large extension within the green belt.
