Feasibility for care home and retirement community on site with outline planning. Re-design proposals in relation to orientation to maximise natural light and mitigate north facing accommodation whilst increasing density on site sympathetically with context.
 
Care home to provide care, dementia and nursing with complementary retirement apartments for downsizers. As well as increasing density and creating improved aspects for accommodation the key challenge which the design uses to its benefit is the steeply sloping nature of the site topography. Proposals to be refined once detailed topographical study undertaken for pre-application submission to local authority.
