This interwar house has been transformed to create a modern, light filled family home.

The house sits on a rather generous plot typically of this era of property where an importance was placed on a connection to nature and having a space to 'grow your own'. A contemporary two storey extension has been added to the rear creating a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space on the ground floor and a new master bedroom with ensuite on the first floor.

Key element: Clay block construction with lower carbon footprint. This has then been overclad with either brick or render to tie through with the existing property.
